Today, MAX BioPharma, Inc. (www.maxbiopharma.com) and Metaba, LLC (www.metaba.us) have announced a strategic collaboration to investigate the effects of oxysterol drug candidates targeting non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), chronic inflammation, and atherosclerosis using Metaba's advanced metabolomics platform technology. This partnership aims to leverage their respective strengths to identify metabolic changes induced by oxysterols, shedding light on the mechanisms of action for potential therapeutic benefits. Additionally, the collaboration seeks to identify biomarkers that could aid in evaluating drug efficacy and serve as diagnostic or prognostic tools.
