Victor M. Diaz Perez

Victor completed his PhD. at the University of Seville, before moving to the UK in 1998 to held different positions as a synthetic and medicinal chemist. He started his journey in solid-state research in early 2007 at Pharmorphix (Cambridge, UK), as a Solid State Scientist, and left nearly 10 years later as Site Director, after having led the acquisition of the company by Johnson Matthey. He then moved to Northern Ireland to lead the Physical Sciences team at Almac for a further 5 years. In 2021, he cofounded Solitek (www.solitekpharma.com), a specialized solid state and preclinical development services company based in Spain, where he currently works as Operations Director.

Currently serving as President at Dr.Hotha’s Life Sciences, his career includes pivotal roles at Veranova, Lupin and Dr. Reddy’s, and he has contributed to over 80 publications and serving editorial boards.

Wheelwright, Ph.D., is the founding Chief Operating Officer of BioInno Bioscience, a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) in China that provides GMP production of antibodies, cell therapies, and gene therapies. Dr. Wheelwright was the founding COO of Innovent Biologics in China in 2010, a major biotech company in China. Dr. Wheelwright was a founder and principal of the consulting firms Strategic Manufacturing Worldwide, Inc. (located in Arizona), and Complya Asia (located in China). Dr. Wheelwright has thirty years of experience in bringing novel products to market, including new drug applications (BLAs and NDAs) in the US and Japan.
