Dimitrios Chondros
CDR-Life, Inc., a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing highly selective T cell engagers (TCEs) for the treatment of cancer and autoimmune diseases, has appointed Dimitrios Chondros, MD, as Chief Medical Officer.
In his new role, Dr. Chondros will lead the company’s clinical development, clinical operations, medical affairs, and translational strategy. His appointment comes as CDR-Life advances its proprietary M-gager® platform into clinical-stage programs, marking a period of significant organizational and pipeline progress.
Dr. Chondros brings more than 20 years of global experience in drug development and medical leadership across biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. His expertise spans early-stage clinical research through late-stage development and global regulatory engagement. Prior to joining CDR-Life, he served as Chief Medical Officer at Halozyme Therapeutics. Earlier in his career, he was Global Development Team Leader for Avastin® in colorectal cancer at Genentech, contributing to the advancement of one of oncology’s leading biologics.
Dr. Chondros studied medicine at RWTH University Aachen in Germany and the University of Zürich in Switzerland. He is a board-certified general surgeon, bringing deep clinical insight and leadership expertise to support CDR-Life’s next phase of growth.
