William Caple

Oligomerix, Inc. has appointed William Caple as Chairman of its Board of Directors, strengthening the leadership of the company as it advances small molecule therapeutics targeting tau for rare neurodegenerative and Alzheimer’s diseases.

Caple brings more than 30 years of executive leadership experience spanning strategic advisory, corporate finance, business development, investment banking, and board leadership across private and public companies. He is the founder of Caple Advisory Solutions, US/Asia, an international management consulting practice focused on growth strategies, corporate finance, business and corporate development, and exits.

He currently serves on the board of Splash Beverage Group, where he supports corporate strategy, capital financing and structure, business development, and mergers and acquisitions. He is also a member of The Livingston Group-Asia.

Caple’s previous experience includes leading the IPO of software company OTG Software, where he was an executive. His transaction experience also includes sourcing, negotiating, and closing the $1.8 billion acquisition of TaylorMade Golf by Korean private equity firm Centroid Investment Partners in 2021.

In that transaction, Caple solely represented Centroid against sell-side adviser Morgan Stanley. He sourced the opportunity, assembled the transaction team, and led the strategic approach and negotiations through completion.

Oligomerix said Caple’s broad experience as a strategic adviser, management consultant, investment banker, senior executive, and board member will support the company as it advances its pipeline of tau-targeting therapies for neurodegenerative diseases.
