In order to expand its clinical supply operations, Almac Group invested US $65 million at the company's North American headquarters in Souderton, Pennsylvania.

With additional cold and ultra-low storage and just-in-time processing capabilities, the 100,000 ft2 facility will increase the facility's clinical capacity by 60% and is anticipated to complement the market trend toward biologics and advanced therapeutic medicinal products (ATMPs).
The construction of this facility will start in early 2023, and upon completion, the company's North American headquarters will have a total footprint of 340,000 ft2.
Capacity will increase specifically in the following areas:
• 200% increase in 2-8°C storage
• 140% increase in 2-8°C packaging
• 100% increase in 20°C packaging
• 30% increase in 15-25°C storage
• 115% increase in ultra-low storage
• 100% increase in just-in-time manufacturing
