The facility will be critical to addressing the growing demand for life-saving medications that treat a wide range of serious illnesses, including cancer and heart disease.
Amgen is working hard to maximize efficiency and ensure it can produce the broad range of medicines they offer to patients.
The new facility is being designed with sustainability as a priority; it will be built to meet the highest environmental standards and will adhere to the company's goal of reducing water usage, and waste output, and achieving carbon neutrality by 2027.
This new state-of-the-art facility's construction management and design are being handled by Integrated Project Services, LLC.
The facility is anticipated to be in use by 2025.
