BeOne Medicines Invests US$300 Million to Expand New Jersey Manufacturing Campus

Introduction:

BeOne Medicines has announced a US$300 million expansion of its Princeton West Innovation Campus in Hopewell, New Jersey, strengthening its U.S. manufacturing and research capabilities. The investment will increase production capacity for the company’s oncology medicines, support its expanding pipeline of more than 35 clinical and commercial-stage assets, and create approximately 120 new full-time jobs. The expanded facility is expected to become fully operational by 2029.

Features:

The expansion will include the construction of a new 145,000-square-foot, three-storey facility adjacent to BeOne Medicines’ existing Hopewell site, increasing the total campus footprint to approximately 545,000 square feet.

The new building will support small molecule drug product manufacturing, packaging operations, quality control laboratories, office facilities, and future expansion capacity.

 The project will transform the Princeton West Innovation Campus into a fully integrated, multi-platform manufacturing centre by combining existing biologics production capabilities with new small molecule manufacturing operations. 

The expanded site will enhance supply chain capabilities, provide additional manufacturing flexibility for strategic partnerships, and support the development and production of therapies across multiple cancer types, including blood cancers, breast, lung, liver, gastrointestinal, and other solid tumours.
