Introduction:
Catalent invested US$2.2 million for the expansion of its clinical supply facilities in Singapore.
Features:
The investment will allow the installation of 35 new freezers for ultra-low temperature (ULT) storage, expanding the site's footprint by over 20% to 31,000 square feet.
In addition, the expansion will increase the site's capacity to handle biopharmaceuticals and advanced modalities, such as mRNA-based vaccines, cell and gene therapies, and will result in the addition of specialised secondary packaging capabilities for ULT products, allowing the site's services to support larger packaging campaigns.
