INCOG BioPharma Plans Major $200 Million Facility Expansion in Indiana
Introduction
INCOG BioPharma Services has announced a major $200 million expansion of its injectable drug manufacturing facility in Fishers, Indiana. The investment will significantly increase production capacity and support long-term growth, positioning the site as a leading global hub for injectable biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
Features
The project will expand INCOG’s 21-acre campus with around 300,000 square feet of purpose-built manufacturing space.
Once complete, the facility will feature advanced infrastructure for sterile fill and finish operations, automated inspection, device assembly, labelling, serialisation and final packaging.
These upgrades will allow the site to produce up to 480 million injectable units each year, enabling INCOG to serve a larger share of the global injectable medicines market.
The investment will also support significant job growth, with the workforce at the Fishers campus expected to reach nearly 1,000 employees by 2030.
Roles will span operations, engineering, quality and administrative functions, offering skilled, high-value employment opportunities.
The expansion further reinforces collaboration between INCOG BioPharma, the State of Indiana and the City of Fishers, supporting the region’s ambition to be a major centre for life sciences and advanced manufacturing.
Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2026. The expanded manufacturing facilities are expected to be completed and fully operational by 2030.
