The new facility, which is more than 3,500 square feet in size, will greatly boost TFF's total lab space and manufacturing capabilities, allowing it to further expand the applications for thin film freezing (TFF).
A specialized lab for the downstream processing of products produced by thin film freezing (TFF) would be included in the new area. This would enhance the company's current formulation development capabilities.
In addition to accommodating growing interest in joint projects, it will provide additional capacity for internal pipeline assets.
The new laboratory space will also give researchers much more room to install larger machinery, facilitate scale-up and manufacture, and create supplies for preclinical research.
The company also plans to expand the Austin product development team, to serve the growing number of partnered projects.
With the establishment of this facility, Austin is now firmly established as the core of TFF's research activities.
