Brian Hart
Advarra, a market leader in regulatory reviews and a leading provider of clinical research technology, has appointed Brian Hart as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
In his new role, Hart will spearhead Advarra’s technology and product strategy, focusing on delivering continuous innovation to enhance and expand the company’s solutions.
Hart brings over two decades of expertise in healthcare technology and innovation, most recently serving as CTO at Covera Health. His career includes building and scaling AI-powered platforms, leading cloud computing and software development initiatives, and introducing groundbreaking solutions that have improved patient care and operational efficiency.
Earlier, he held senior leadership positions at IBM Watson Health (now Merative) and Merge Healthcare, a medical imaging platform acquired by IBM Watson Health in 2015.
Joining Advarra at a pivotal moment, Hart will help unify the company’s products and technology under a single strategic vision.
This leadership move underscores Advarra’s commitment to developing scalable, intelligent solutions - spanning ethics reviews, study startup, operations, and tracking - to enable sponsors, CROs, and sites to conduct clinical research with greater efficiency, compliance, and transparency.
