Andrew Davis
Convergent Therapeutics has appointed Andrew Davis as Chief Business and Strategy Officer, strengthening the company’s executive leadership team as it advances the development of next-generation radiopharmaceutical therapies for cancer treatment.
Davis joins the clinical-stage biotechnology company following his tenure as Chief Business Officer at Dynavax Technologies and will play a key role in shaping Convergent’s long-term business and strategic initiatives.
Bringing more than 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, Davis has built a strong track record in leading complex commercial partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate growth strategies. Prior to Dynavax, he served as Chief Business Officer at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals and earlier held the position of Chief Business Development and M&A Officer at iNova Pharmaceuticals.
Before joining iNova, Davis led oncology business development activities at Merck & Co., where he focused on identifying and executing strategic partnerships to strengthen the company’s oncology portfolio. Earlier in his career, he held several leadership roles at Bausch Health Companies, ultimately serving as Senior Vice President of Business Development. During that time, he led major acquisitions including Salix Pharmaceuticals, Dendreon, and Bausch + Lomb.
Davis earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Boston University and currently serves on the board of Vedanta Biosciences.
