Harbour BioMed Appoints Dr. Luisa Salter-Cid as Scientific Advisor

Harbour BioMed has appointed Luisa Salter-Cid, Ph.D., as Scientific Advisor, strengthening the company's scientific leadership as it advances the discovery and development of novel antibody therapeutics for immunology, oncology, and other disease areas.

Dr. Salter-Cid brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, with an extensive background in immunology and immuno-oncology. Throughout her career, she has played a pivotal role in translating cutting-edge scientific research into clinical-stage therapeutic candidates while leading research and development initiatives across globally recognized organizations.

Currently, Dr. Salter-Cid serves as Venture Partner at Osage University Partners, a venture capital firm focused on commercializing university-based innovations. Before joining Osage University Partners, she was Chief Scientific Officer of Pioneering Medicines at Flagship Pioneering, where she led the development of a portfolio of innovative medicines generated from the company's diverse scientific platforms. Earlier, as Chief Scientific Officer at Gossamer Bio, she played a key role in expanding the company's immunology and immuno-oncology pipeline.

Prior to these positions, Dr. Salter-Cid spent 13 years at Bristol Myers Squibb, most recently serving as Vice President and Head of Immunology, Small Molecule Immuno-Oncology, and Genomics Discovery. During her tenure, she led multidisciplinary research teams that successfully advanced more than 20 drug candidates into clinical development, underscoring her expertise in driving innovation from early discovery through clinical translation.

In addition to her executive leadership, Dr. Salter-Cid has made significant scientific contributions, authoring more than 90 publications and patents. Her appointment is expected to support Harbour BioMed's research strategy and strengthen the company's efforts to develop next-generation antibody-based therapies for patients worldwide.
