Michael Clay
Caidya, a global mid-sized contract research organization (CRO) focused on accelerating clinical development for innovative biopharmaceutical companies, has appointed Michael Clay as Chief Operating Officer (COO).
In this role, Clay will oversee the company’s global operational delivery, client engagement model, and execution strategy, strengthening Caidya’s ability to support sponsors across the U.S., Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
Clay brings extensive experience in global project delivery and site relationship management, having led large-scale clinical programs across more than 60 countries. His leadership has been instrumental in building high-performing delivery organizations recognized for operational excellence and strong sponsor partnerships.
Prior to joining Caidya, Clay served as Senior Vice President of Global Project Delivery at Fortrea, where he managed over 500 global clinical trials. His career also includes senior operational roles at other global CROs and site management organizations.
Clay’s appointment reflects Caidya’s continued commitment to expanding its global leadership team and strengthening its ability to deliver agile, integrated clinical development solutions for emerging biotech innovators.
