Linda Shapiro Manning

Ambrosia Biosciences Inc. (“Ambrosia”) has appointed Linda Shapiro Manning, M.D., Ph.D., as Chief Medical Officer and the addition of Randy Seeley, Ph.D., to its Scientific Advisory Board, strengthening the company’s clinical and scientific expertise in obesity and cardiometabolic disease.

Dr. Shapiro Manning brings nearly three decades of experience in obesity and cardiometabolic disease clinical care and research. Throughout her career, she has led development programs that contributed to multiple INDs, NDAs and sNDAs for GLP-1s, amylin and other therapeutic targets at Novo Nordisk, Boehringer Ingelheim and Rhythm Pharmaceuticals. She has also treated more than 5,000 patients during 10 years of obesity medicine practice, providing a strong patient-centric perspective to clinical drug development.

Dr. Shapiro Manning earned her M.D. from Tulane University and completed postgraduate clinical training at the University of Massachusetts. She received her Ph.D. and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Colorado, along with a graduate certificate in Clinical Research Management from Washington University in St. Louis.
