David Sandoval
Milestone Pharmaceuticals Inc. has appointed David Sandoval as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer.
His appointment comes as the company launches CARDAMYST™ (etripamil) nasal spray, recently approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on December 12, 2025, as the first self-administered treatment for converting acute symptomatic episodes of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (PSVT) to sinus rhythm in adults.
Sandoval will serve on Milestone’s executive leadership team, providing strategic legal counsel across contracts, finance, investor relations, business development, intellectual property, human resources, and compliance. He brings more than 15 years of experience leading legal and compliance functions in the life sciences sector, with deep expertise in late-stage development, regulatory approval, and first-product commercialization.
Prior to joining Milestone, Sandoval served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary at MaxCyte, Inc., overseeing global legal, compliance, and risk management operations and supporting key strategic transactions. Earlier, he was Chief Legal Officer and Chief Compliance Officer for North America at Leadiant Biosciences, Inc., where he built the U.S. legal and compliance infrastructure and supported multiple product launches.
He also held senior legal roles at Enzon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Eisai Inc., beginning his legal career at O’Melveny & Myers LLP.
