Oruka Therapeutics Appoints Todd Edwards as Chief Commercial Officer

Oruka Therapeutics, Inc, a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing biologics for chronic skin diseases, has appointed Todd Edwards as Chief Commercial Officer.

Edwards will support the company’s commercial strategy as it advances treatments for conditions including plaque psoriasis (PsO) and hidradenitis suppurativa (HS).

Edwards brings more than 25 years of commercial leadership experience across immunology and dermatology, with expertise spanning biologics and topical therapies. He joins Oruka from Arcutis Biotherapeutics, Inc., where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer.

At Arcutis, Edwards led the transformation of the ZORYVE® franchise, including rebuilding the company’s psoriasis commercial organization, launching additional indications for atopic dermatitis and seborrheic dermatitis, and delivering consistent revenue growth.
Previously, Edwards served as Group Vice President and Business Head of Immunology at Incyte Corporation. During his tenure, he established a new dermatology business unit and led the launch of two first-in-class dermatology therapies.

Earlier, Edwards held senior leadership roles at UCB S.A., including Senior Vice President responsible for U.S. Immunology and subsequently Global Immunology Operations and Strategy. He helped scale U.S. immunology net sales across dermatology, rheumatology, and gastroenterology and led global portfolio strategy for biologics targeting psoriatic and related inflammatory diseases.

Earlier in his career, Edwards held senior positions at AbbVie and TAP Pharmaceuticals. He is also a decorated veteran of the U.S. Army.

In his new role at Oruka, Edwards will leverage his commercial and therapeutic-area expertise to support the company’s growth and preparations for future product development and commercialization.

Edwards earned a B.S. from East Tennessee State University and an M.B.A. from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
