Christoph Funke
Lupin Limited has appointed Christoph Funke as its new Chief Technical Operations Officer.
Christoph, with over 30 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, supply chain, and technical operations, will be based in Mumbai and will oversee the integration of Lupin’s manufacturing, supply chain, and procurement functions.
Christoph’s career spans leadership roles at prominent pharmaceutical companies like Fresenius Kabi and Strides Pharma Science, where he managed extensive technical operations across 27 sites in 19 countries, overseeing production valued at over USD 2 billion. He holds an engineering degree from South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences, Germany.
Commenting on the appointment, Lupin’s CEO, Vinita Gupta, and MD, Nilesh Gupta, expressed their enthusiasm, stating, “Christoph’s extensive experience and proven leadership in manufacturing and supply chain operations make him an invaluable addition to our executive team as we continue to drive our mission of improving patient lives globally.”
