Oliver P. Kronenberg
Santhera Pharmaceuticals announced the appointment of Dr. Oliver P. Kronenberg as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary.
Dr. Kronenberg brings over 25 years of legal experience, including 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry, to his new role.
As Chief Legal Officer, Dr. Kronenberg will lead Santhera’s global legal strategy, focusing on corporate governance, intellectual property, and transactions. He succeeds Oliver Strub, who will transition to the newly created position of Head of Compliance. In this role, Strub will oversee the development and management of Santhera’s compliance program.

Dr. Kronenberg’s career includes substantial experience with Vifor Pharma and its parent company, Galenica. Since 2008, he has held various legal positions, including Head of Legal and Compliance at Vifor Pharma, Group General Counsel of Galenica, and, most recently, Group General Counsel at Vifor Pharma, where he was also a member of the executive committee. He has been serving as interim General Counsel for Santhera since April 2024.

Dr. Kronenberg holds a doctorate in law from the University of Basel, an LL.M. from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium, a Finance for Executives degree from INSEAD, and an IMD Board Director Diploma.
