Legend Biotech Corporation, a global leader in cell therapy, has announced a leadership transition following the departure of Ying Huang, Ph.D., as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors.

Dr. Huang will remain with the company as an advisor through August to support a smooth transition.

The Board of Directors has appointed Alan Bash, current President of the CARVYKTI Business Unit, as Interim Chief Executive Officer. In parallel, the Board has launched a comprehensive search to identify a permanent successor.

The leadership change comes as Legend Biotech continues to advance its cell therapy portfolio and the commercialization of CARVYKTI. Bash’s existing leadership role within the CARVYKTI business provides continuity as the company evaluates candidates for its next permanent CEO.

The company said the search for a permanent Chief Executive Officer is underway, with further updates expected as the process progresses.
