Ian T. Clark
BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. has appointed Ian T. Clark to its Board of Directors.
Clark, the former CEO of Genentech (2010–2016), oversaw the launch of 15 new drugs during his tenure and held multiple senior leadership roles at the company. His prior experience includes executive positions at Novartis International AG, Sanofi S.A., Ivax Pharmaceuticals, and G.D. Searle.
Currently, Clark serves on the boards of Olema Oncology, Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd., Kyverna Therapeutics, Corvus Pharmaceuticals, and Guardant Health. He has previously held board roles at Forty Seven Inc., Shire Pharmaceuticals, Avrobio, and Kite Pharma.
Additionally, Clark is an advisor to KKR & Co. Inc. and has served on the board of the Biotechnology Industry Organization and the Federal Reserve’s 12th District Economic Advisory Council.
