Halozyme Appoints Darren Snellgrove as Chief Financial Officer to Drive Strategic Financial Growth

Halozyme Therapeutics has appointed Darren Snellgrove as its new Chief Financial Officer, reinforcing the company’s leadership team as it continues to advance its growth and innovation strategy in the biopharmaceutical sector.

In his new role, Snellgrove will oversee Halozyme’s global financial operations and long-term financial strategy, including capital allocation, corporate development, and investor relations. He will report directly to President and Chief Executive Officer Helen Torley.

Snellgrove brings more than three decades of financial leadership experience across the pharmaceutical and medical technology industries. His efforts contributed to strong market positioning and investor confidence.

Earlier, Snellgrove served as Chief Financial Officer for Johnson & Johnson’s Pharmaceuticals division, overseeing financial operations for a business generating more than US$50 billion in annual revenue. During his tenure, he led global finance teams supporting commercial operations, research and development, supply chain, and business development initiatives, while also contributing to major investment and restructuring activities.

Before Johnson & Johnson, Snellgrove held senior finance and CFO roles within pharmaceutical R&D and innovation divisions and worked at Centocor prior to its acquisition. He holds an MBA from Villanova University and a BA Honors degree from University of Southampton.
