Eckhard Niemeier
Nouscom, a clinical-stage immuno-oncology company specializing in neoantigen cancer immunotherapies, has appointed Eckhard Niemeier as Chief Business Officer (CBO).
With over 20 years of experience in corporate development and strategy in the life sciences sector, Niemeier will work closely with Nouscom’s leadership to drive business growth and strategic partnerships.
Niemeier most recently served as CBO at UNION Therapeutics A/S, where he led business development, M&A, and alliance management. His expertise played a crucial role in advancing UNION’s portfolio and corporate strategy. Previously, at Pieris Pharmaceuticals, he secured major strategic deals with AstraZeneca, Roche/Genentech, Seagen, and Servier.
Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at Gruenenthal Pharma and MorphoSys, focusing on licensing and partnerships. He began his professional journey at McKinsey & Company, specializing in healthcare and life sciences.
Niemeier holds a master’s degree in biotechnology and completed his thesis at Human Genome Sciences.
