Erica L. Monaco
ITF Therapeutics LLC, the U.S. affiliate of Italfarmaco, announced the appointment of Erica L. Monaco, CPA, as Chief Operating Officer. With nearly two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical and financial sectors, Ms. Monaco will lead strategic and operational initiatives to drive the company’s growth and innovation.
Ms. Monaco most recently served as Chief Operating Officer at Medicus Pharma Ltd. Prior to that, she held multiple leadership roles at Biofrontera Inc., including CEO, CFO, and COO. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in securing funding, leading a successful IPO, and establishing the U.S. commercial infrastructure for the launch of a novel therapy for actinic keratosis skin lesions.
She also held a senior finance role at SUN Pharmaceuticals, overseeing reporting and accounting for two subsidiaries.
Ms. Monaco began her career in public accounting, tax consulting, and financial planning at Deloitte and the WGBH Educational Foundation. She holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in accounting from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is a licensed CPA in Massachusetts.
