Dr. Ashiq H. Khan
Evotec SE has appointed Ashiq H. Khan, Ph.D., as EVP Global Head and Chief Commercial Officer.
The appointment strengthens the company’s commercial leadership as it continues to expand its global presence and platform capabilities.
Dr. Khan brings over 15 years of international experience across biotechnology, contract research organizations (CROs), and AI-driven platform businesses. He has a proven track record of managing cross-regional teams and leading high-value partnerships, having closed more than US$7 billion in standalone, integrated, and collaborative agreements across the U.S., Europe, and Asia-Pacific markets.
In his new role, Dr. Khan will lead the development of a globally integrated commercial organization aligned with Evotec’s scientific expertise and technology platforms. His focus will be on enhancing customer value, strengthening strategic partnerships, and driving sustainable growth across the company’s diverse service and innovation portfolio.
Prior to joining Evotec, Dr. Khan served as Chief Business Officer at Iktos. He also held leadership positions at Proteros and Schrödinger, Inc., gaining extensive experience in drug discovery and commercialization strategies.
Dr. Khan holds a Ph.D. in Neurobiology from University of Cologne and has completed business education at Wharton School and INSEAD.
