Todd Garner

Avantor, Inc., a global provider of mission-critical products and services for the life sciences and advanced technology industries, has appointed Todd Garner as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

In his new role, Garner will oversee Avantor’s global finance organization, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, tax, investor relations and internal audit. His appointment brings more than three decades of experience in finance, operations and public company leadership to the company.

Garner joins Avantor from CONMED Corporation, where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 2018 through 2026. During his tenure, he held responsibility for the company’s financial leadership and supported its broader business operations.

Earlier in his career, Garner held several leadership positions at C. R. Bard, Inc., including Vice President of Investor Relations and Division Chief Financial Officer. His experience at Bard included financial management, investor relations and business leadership, contributing to the company’s growth and shareholder value initiatives.

Garner holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

With his extensive background in financial management and public company leadership, Garner will take responsibility for guiding Avantor’s global finance functions as the company continues to serve customers across the life sciences and advanced technology sectors.
