Vaximm AG, a subsidiary of OSR Holdings, Inc. and a leader in the development of oral T-cell–based immunotherapies for cancer, has appointed Sébastien Wieckowski, PhD, as Chief Scientific Officer (CSO).

The appointment marks a significant milestone in strengthening the company’s scientific leadership as it accelerates the advancement of its next-generation oral immunotherapy platform.

Dr. Wieckowski brings extensive and long-standing experience with Vaximm’s core technology, combined with deep expertise in immunology and advanced data science. His multidisciplinary background positions him uniquely to drive innovation across the organization, integrating data-driven decision-making with robust, reproducible analytical workflows to enhance research efficiency and platform performance. His leadership is expected to play a critical role in optimizing discovery processes and accelerating the translation of scientific insights into clinical progress.

This appointment comes at a pivotal stage for Vaximm as the company continues to advance its lead oncology candidate, VXM01, into further stages of clinical development. At the same time, Vaximm is actively expanding its pipeline by exploring additional therapeutic targets that leverage the full potential of its proprietary VXM platform.

In his role as CSO, Dr. Wieckowski will oversee scientific strategy and lead efforts to further strengthen and evolve the VXM platform, ensuring it remains at the forefront of oral immunotherapy innovation.
