Anthony Kim
OnCusp Therapeutics has appointed Anthony Kim as Chief Financial Officer, further strengthening the company’s executive leadership team as it advances differentiated oncology therapies focused on delivering meaningful clinical outcomes for patients.
In his new role, Kim will oversee the company’s capital markets strategy, investor relations, financial planning, and operational finance activities while working closely with the executive team and Board of Directors to support OnCusp’s long-term growth objectives.
Kim brings more than 25 years of experience spanning biotechnology finance leadership and global capital markets. Throughout his career, he has developed extensive expertise in capital formation, corporate strategy, and investor engagement across both private and publicly traded life sciences companies, as well as major international investment banks.
Most recently, Kim served as Chief Financial Officer Consultant at Orum Therapeutics, where he advised the company’s leadership on U.S. capital markets strategy, valuation, investor communications, and public market readiness. Prior to that, he was Chief Financial Officer of Marker Therapeutics, a publicly traded immuno-oncology company, where he led financial operations and investor relations initiatives. During his tenure, he helped strengthen the company’s financial position by securing more than US$130 million in equity financing along with additional non-dilutive funding.
Earlier in his career, Kim spent nearly two decades in investment banking with J.P. Morgan, Jefferies, Nomura, and Scotiabank, where he executed equity, debt, and strategic transactions valued at more than US$30 billion. He holds an AB in Economics from University of Chicago and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
