Sravan Emany
Beam Therapeutics Inc., a biotechnology company advancing precision genetic medicines through base editing, has appointed Sravan K. Emany as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Emany brings extensive global financial, operational, and commercial expertise from leadership roles in multinational corporations and financial institutions.
Most recently, Emany served as CFO and Chief Operating Officer at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, Inc.. Prior to that, he was Corporate Vice President, Commercial Excellence, and Chief Strategy Officer at Integra LifeSciences Holdings Corporation, where he also held roles overseeing strategy, treasury, and investor relations. His career includes nearly a decade in investment banking, serving as Managing Director in the Mergers and Acquisitions group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (now BofA Securities), where he led major healthcare sector deals. He has also held financial roles at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.
Emany currently serves on the board of directors of Assertio Holdings, Inc. He holds a B.A. in International Relations from The Johns Hopkins University and an M.A. in International Relations and International Economics from The Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
